Psychiatry Services are located at Olin Health Center. Consultation and treatment is provided for a wide range of mental health concerns including: mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, alcohol/substance abuse, and psychosis.
Olin Psychiatry works in a collaborative fashion with the Counseling Center and Olin Primary Care.
Students with mental health concerns who desire consultation/treatment with a psychiatrist should first present to the Counseling Center. The Counseling Center staff will do an initial assessment. If Psychiatric referral is needed, the counselor will evaluate whether Olin Psychiatry or a community resource would be the best fit and make the appropriate referral. Referrals to Psychiatry can also be generated by Olin Primary Care.
