QUALIFICATIONS

 

Applicants must be advanced doctoral candidates from an APA accredited Ph.D. or Psy.D. program that subscribes to a clinical-scientist or scientist-practitioner model and must have completed all internship prerequisites before beginning the internship. Included in these prerequisites are:

  • Passing score(s) on  comprehensive exams by June 30, 2009
  • A minimum of 300 hours of direct intervention & assessment experience in supervised practice at the doctoral level completed by the closing date for applications (November 15, 2009).
  • Completion of all required courses by June 30, 2009.
  • An approved doctoral dissertation proposal by January 1, 2010.

An intern must be in "good standing" in their academic program prior to and during the internship. It is the intern's responsibility to inform the MSUCC Training Director if such standing is in question or if it changes.
